McDole PTO is hosting the Spring Raffle Basket fundraiser during the Open House at McDole Elementary, in the Multipurpose Room! Pre-Purchase Raffle tickets through Friday, March 13th. As our community celebrates the Kaneland Knights' historic 35-0 season and their trip to the IHSA Class 3A State Finals, the District has been closely monitoring projected attendance for this Friday, March 13.

Based on internal data, we project a significant level of non-attendance across the district, which would prevent us from maintaining normal instructional operations.

As a result, the Kaneland Board of Education and District Administration have determined there will be NO SCHOOL for all Kaneland District students on Friday, March 13, 2026. This day will be made up in May. 

Families and staff are invited to celebrate countries around the world on this special free-of-charge evening. Families, please sign up to host a table about the country of your choice! We are also looking for family members, students and staff of all ability levels who are interested in doing a cultural performance in the Multipurpose Room during the event! This could be dance from any country, singing in any language, poetry in any language, reading a storybook out loud related to any culture, playing an instrument, demonstrating an activity like Chinese Yo-Yo's, just to name a few!

McDole PTO is excited to announce our upcoming UNO Tournament & Family Game Night! McDole Families and staff are invited to join us for an evening of fun! Cheer on the K-5th grade students while they compete in an UNO tournament. Prizes will be awarded to the tournament winners! In addition to the tournament, we will have board & card games available to play, Open Gym after the tournament, and snacks.

Registration for incoming Kaneland Kindergartens will take place on Saturday, February 7th, from 8:00-11:00 am. Registration for McDole families will take place at McDole. Please contact the office at 630-897-1961 if you have any questions.
