As our community celebrates the Kaneland Knights' historic 35-0 season and their trip to the IHSA Class 3A State Finals, the District has been closely monitoring projected attendance for this Friday, March 13.

Based on internal data, we project a significant level of non-attendance across the district, which would prevent us from maintaining normal instructional operations.

As a result, the Kaneland Board of Education and District Administration have determined there will be NO SCHOOL for all Kaneland District students on Friday, March 13, 2026. This day will be made up in May.
