Dear Parents,

We're so excited that our school will be participating in an in-school Penguin Patch Holiday Shop to spread holiday cheer!

Penguin Patch Holiday Shop is a fun way for students to shop for family members and experience the spirit of giving while learning to earn, budget, and save! Our shop will be open on Monday, Dec. 15th and Wednesday, Dec. 17th. Students will be assigned a shopping day by class.

Your student will have over 100 delightful gifts to choose from, all ranging in price from $0.50 to $13. Students can check out our photo gallery below to see what some of those gift options are. This is an amazing opportunity to empower your student to choose, purchase, and give gifts to their loved ones! Your students will come home with a flyer and a budget envelope. We ask that you help make this a great experience for your students by doing the following:

  • Help your child find ways to earn extra cash around the house to shop

  • Assist your child in setting a budget for each family member with the budget envelope provided

  • Return the budget envelope by your child’s scheduled shopping date (provided by teacher). Your child can shop using:

    • Cash or Check returned in the budget envelope

      • Make Checks out to McDole Elementary PTO

    • Penguin Pay virtual wallet (please note, if you use Penguin Pay there will be no change returned, so we will encourage the students to spend what is available for them)
