Qiana Nelson - President

Qiana is a Sales Vice President at CDW, a technology sales company, where she has worked for 20+ years. She attended Southern Illinois University-Carbondale where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and played volleyball on a full-athletic scholarship. Qiana is passionate about seeing others succeed which led her to start QSN Consulting, LLC where she is a Life Coach focused on personal and professional career development. When she is not working, she serves on the Navy Pier Associate board as the Co-Chair, enjoys roller skating, traveling, spending time with family and loving the title of “Dance Mom” given to her by her 4th grader. She is excited to go into her 3rd year on the PTO board.

McDole PTO Board Opportunities

The McDole Elementary PTO is seeking parents or guardians interested in stepping into leadership roles.

  • Vice President (Current School Year): We are looking to appoint a Vice President to serve for the remainder of the year following a mid-year transition.

  • 2026–2027 PTO Board: We are also gathering interest from anyone who would like to join the PTO Board for the upcoming school year.

Shada Rogers - Secretary

Shada works as an assistant housing director and is a proud HBCU graduate student. As an active member of her community and church, she finds fulfillment in contributing to the well-being of those around her. She is also a proud mother of a beautiful 9-year-old KME Knight, who is excited to start 4th grade this year. This school year, Shada is excited to return to the PTO crew as the secretary and continue supporting our school community.

Brandon Staker - Treasurer

Brandon is a music teacher at Simmons Middle School in East Aurora. He attended Millikin University where he earned a bachelor's degree in vocal music education. He also works as a stagehand at Paramount Theater and Riveredge Park in Aurora. Brandon lives in Sugar Grove with his wife Christie and their kids Will, Jack, and Kyle. He enjoys coaching his sons in football and baseball, listening to music, and spending time with his family and two dogs.
